Easy Mustache Cup Cozy

Before November comes to an end… I wanted to quickly wip up
a cute mustache cup cozy
in support of Movember.

Movember is a great cause that happens every November.
To support/grow a stash and donate by clicking HERE

*this is not sponsored in any way, just want to raise awareness to a good cause*

Super easy pattern.
Watch one episode of Stranger Things and you’ll be done!
Stay cozy 😃

Hook size: G/4.25mm
Yarn suggestion for the cozy: Bernat Handicrafter Cotton (in any colour you want)
Yarn suggestion for the mustache: any black scrap yarn

Note: I used cotton yarn on purpose. It's more sturdy and less likely to slip off your cup/mug.  Also, I used scrap black yarn for the mustache (you need very little to make it)

Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
Sl St - Slip Stitch

OTH Crochet Nook Pattern: Easy Mustache Cup Cozy

Ch 9
Row 1: SC in 2nd from hook, and across until end, ch 1, turn (8)
Row 2: SC 8 across, ch 1, turn
Row 3: Repeat until it fits around the cup you want it for, I did 33 rows
*should look like a long rectangle*
Row 4: sl st both ends together, sl st twice, fasten off
(Free pattern is from Red Heart (and includes a cozy) can be found HERE)

Ch 16.
Row 1: Slip st in 2nd ch from hook; draw up a loop in each of next 3 chs, yo and draw through all 4 loops on hook; hdc in next 2 chs, (dc, sc) in next ch, slip st in next ch, (sc, dc) in next ch, hdc in next 2 chs; draw up a loop in each of next 3 chs, yo and draw through all 4 loops on hook; slip st in last ch. Fasten off

Now, attach the mustache to the front of the cozy.  I used a glue gun, but you can use you a yarn needle and stitch it on.

All done!

For every Mustache Cup Cozy you make before November 30th,
I will donate $1 to Movember!
