Easy Hideaway Sweater Shrug

My very first piece of clothing I crocheted was a shrug.
Only a few months into learning basic crochet skills,
I was shocked at how easy it was to make myself an actual piece of clothing.
This is definitely a quick "Watch Netflix and Crochet" type of project.
And depending how bulky your yarn is, it's a quick wip!

Materials:
Hook size: M/9.00mm (depending how chunky your yarn is)
Yarn suggestion: Bernat Softee Chunky
Yarn Needle

Legend:
Ch - Chain
DC - Double crochet
Sl St - Slip Stitch

Note: This Hideaway Shrug can be made in any size very easily.
The size I've made for myself would work as a small/medium.
To make the sweater longer (from neck to bum), increase your chains to start.
And/or to make your sweater wider, just add more rows!

OTH Crochet Nook Pattern: Easy Hideaway Sweater Shrug

Chain 80
Row 1: DC 3rd chain from hook, DC in every stitch until the end, ch 2, turn
Row 2: DC across until end, ch 2, turn
*Repeat Row 2 until desired length is reached, I completed 50 rows*

You should now have a large rectangle.

Lay it flat and fold it in half.
Slip Stich (or seam with yarn needle) sides about half way up to create arm holes.

Guess what?

You're done!
