Cozy Tree Blanket

I love Christmas.

It was always a big deal in my house growing up. 

Our family of 4 would head out and pick a real Christmas tree on December 1^st every year.

My mom would bring out old dusty boxes full of the same red and green decorations and ornaments and we would dress the tree to loud Christmas songs.

My Dad would always put on "O' Christmas Tree," and he'd lift me up so 

I could top the tree with a big star.

Memories I will never forget.

I lost my dad when I was 16 years old, he passed away a few weeks before Christmas....so the holidays changed once he wasn't around.

But I can happily say, I am so grateful for my own family and the 

new traditions I will make during the holiday season.

I really wanted to honor my family traditions with an easy holiday design.

The Christmas tree was and still is my favourite tradition…and I wanted to give it a modern twist by using colours that embrace the season not just the holiday.

When I start designing a blanket, I'm immediately drawn to
